"Moonlight Resonance," a family drama produced by Hong Kong's Television Broadcasts Limited (TVB), is the station's best drama of the year, the broadcaster has announced.

The grand production, which became TVB's highest rated series ever following its premiere in July, scooped six awards including Best Drama at TVB's annual Anniversary Awards on Saturday.

Awards for Best Actress and Actor went to Michelle Yim and Ha Yu, both "Moonlight Resonance" stars.

TVB is known for its star-making drama series. Some of today's most famous Hong Kong entertainers, including Andy Lau, Chow Yun-Fat, and Cannes' best actor Tony Leung, were TVB stars in the 1980s and 90s.

The TVB Anniversary Awards, held every November, summarize the station's achievements of the year.

This year, celebrations for TVB's 41st anniversary will continue until Wednesday when a star-studded gala will be held.
