Model-actress Lin Chiling, ambassador of the 45th Taiwan Golden Horse Film Awards, recently shot a promotional video for the awards.

Echoing the theme of this year's awards, "Films for All Generations," Lin Chiling paid tribute to five movies from different ages in the video. She imitated Charlie Chaplin in "City Lights," Audrey Hepburn in "Breakfast at Tiffany's," and Maggie Cheung in "In the Mood for Love," as well as an old woman in "Dust in Wind" and a young girl in "Blue Gate Crossing."

Lin said she liked the part of Chaplin. "I didn't have much chance for exaggerated acting before. You can act spontaneously and play pranks. That's why a silent movie is a fun," she said.

"The fake mustache is sticky and it makes the skin feel tight," Lin Chiling said of her Chaplin makeup. "Now I can understand why Takeshi Kaneshiro didn't like to laugh when he put up makeup for his role in Red Cliff."
