Malaysian kung fu actress Michelle Yeoh has teamed up with Hong Kong producer Terence Chang and Tang Zaiyang, a well-known Taiwan media personality, to set up a new talent agency that will prmote established actors as well as unknown ones.

The three officially launched Stellar Entertainment Ltd. at a news confernce in Hong Kong on Saturday, the website Sina.com reported.

The company will have offices in Taipei, Hong Kong and on the mainland. It aims to introduce actors from these areas to the international filmmaking industry, Tang was quoted as saying

The agency's current roster of entertainers includes mainland actor Zhang Fengyi, Hong Kong actress Kelly Lin, Taiwan star Pace Wu and a number of newcomers.

The agency is planning its debut movie, "1949", according to Terence Chang. The romance will be directed by "Face Off" director John Woo and will star Taiwan actor Chang Chen and South Korean actress Song Hye-kyo.
