Forbes Releases 2008 Chinese Celebrity Top 100 List

The Forbes China magazine has released its 2008 Chinese celebrity top 100 list, attracting many renowned people from various circles to attend its grand charitable awarding ceremony.

Beijing Galloping Horse Film &TV Production, Polybona, and Chengtian Entertainment have been awarded as "Best Business Organizations".

Chinese mainland TV hostess Li Xiang, actress Jiang Qinqin, pianist Li Yundi, and Twelve Girls Band were selected as the "Celebrities of the Year".

Chinese mainland actor Dengchao and Singer Zhang Liangying won the awards for "the Male or Female Entertainers with the Most Attention from the Media", respectively.

Many other celebrities, including Chinese actress Huang Shengyi, 80s-generation writers, Guo Jingming, popular TV soccer commentator Huang Jianxiang, have all made into this ranking.

The auction at the event raised nearly 569,000 Yuan, which will be donated to China Red Cross Foundation.

China Celebrity 100 is a list published annually by Forbes China magazine, and is similar to Celebrity 100, also published by Forbes.
