A memorial concert for Leslie Cheung, dubbed "Miss You Much Leslie," was held at the Hong Kong Coliseum Monday night to mark the fifth anniversary of Cheung's death.

Fans came from around Asia for the event, Florence Chan, Leslie Cheung's former agent and organizer of the show, said.

Local entertainers including Anthony Wong Yiu-Ming, Gigi Leung, Jacky Cheung, Karen Mok, and Nadia Chan performed at the ceremony, at which videos featuring Leslie Cheung were screened throughout the show.

The "Miss You Much Leslie" concert will continue through Tuesday, when more local celebrities will pay homage to the star.

Also on Monday, a thousand fans braved the rain to attend an outdoor screening of Cheung's films at the Hong Kong Cultural Center.

A photographic exhibition dedicated to the former singer-actor has also opened along the Avenue of Stars near Victoria Harbor.

On April 1, 2003, 46-year-old Leslie Cheung shocked the Hong Kong entertainment industry by leaping from the 24th floor of a local hotel. He left a suicide note saying he had been suffering from depression.
