Chinese mainland actress Li Bingbing signed a deal recently with luxurious sedan producer Mercedes-Benz to become one of its spokespeople.

Advertisers' interests in the actress increased after her winning the Best Actress of China Movie Awards for her performance in 2006 war romance film "Yun Shui Yao."

Li's latest film "The Forbidden Kingdom", in which she co-stars with Jackie Chan and Jet Lee, is expected to screen in April.
