Taiwan singer-actress Rene Liu's live "Sleepwalking Beijing" concert came to the Capital Gymnasium in Beijing on Saturday, the third time she has performed in Beijing, web site sina.com.cn reported on Sunday.

Rene's tender and touching vocals, glamorous stage presence and delicate costumes delivered a visual and vocal feast to the swooning audience. The concert was an appropriate tribute to women everywhere on this year's International Women's Day.

Quickly becoming friends with the audience, Rene causally chatted and joked with her fans, adding to the relaxed atmosphere. The warmth and love she received from her fans drove Rene to tears three times before the end of the concert.

Singer Chen Yufan from the pop duo Yu Quan, actor Wang Baoqiang, and Rene's musical mentor Li Zongsheng, were guests at the concert and each sang duets with Rene.

The audience joined in on the encores "When Love is Near" and "Afterwards," bringing the evening to a bittersweet end.

"Next time I will keep singing until you surrender!" Rene excitedly yelled to the audience as she left the stage.
