The musical "Jing Wu Men," starring Chinese mainland actress Fan Bingbing, Hong Kong singer and actor Jordan Chan and Korean poppin' dancer Nam Hyun Joon, held an opening ceremony to kick off its run in Beijing on Saturday.

Major cast members all attended the celebration, sina.com.cn reported.

Fan Bingbing, who just wowed audiences with her New Year's hit "Lost in Beijing," will play a disc jockey in the musical.

"The profession is so mysterious," the actress said. "I even went to night clubs, where I rarely go, to learn from the real DJs."

Fan said that she is quite satisfied with her work over the past year.

"At least the public has seen my progress," Fan said.

The entertainer said one of her New Year's resolutions is to attend the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
