Hong Kong singer and actress Gigi Leung has shot a range of sexy and charming photos for the international fashion magazine Harper's Bazaar, putting paid to her mild and elegant side of old.

Sina.com reported on Thursday that Gigi's new appearance is in accordance with her image in a new movie "Bangzi, Laohu, Ji", or "Bat, Tiger and Chicken" in English.

In the comedy, Gigi acts as a bar tender, with a hot figure and even hotter temper.

"I won't force myself to shift style, it is a natural thing. I am no longer that young and I think it is time to change. I will show you a brand new Gigi this time," the star said in response the questions about her role in the comedy.

Also starring in it are actor Xia Yu, winner of the best actor award at the 1994 Venice International Film Festival, and famous Hong Kong actor Eric Tsang. The film is scheduled to hit the silver screen on December 28.
