JJ Lin Earns Autograph-Signing World Record

Singaporean pop singer JJ Lin on Sunday earned a Guinness World Record for continuously signing autographs.

JJ Lin previously announced he would challenge the world record during his stay in the northern Chinese municipality of Tianjin, there to promote his latest album "West Side."

Over 3,000 fans from throughout China flocked to the city to help their idol succeed in his ambitious quest.

JJ Lin ended up signing autographs on 3,052 CD copies in about two and a half hours, outdoing the previous record of 2,852 autographs in eight hours.

An officer with the Guinness World Records granted the singer a certificate on-the-spot.
