Singers and actress from Hong Kong, Taiwan and the Chinese mainland have attended a charitable activity held by UNICEF, with the theme of curbing the spread of the HIV/AIDS virus among youngsters.
Hong Kong actress and singer Gigi Leung, who is also Hong Kong's UNICEF Ambassador, as well as Taiwan pop singer Veness Wu and Chinese mainland actress, Mei Ting, have attended the activity, named: "Unite for Children &Unite against AIDS"
UNICEF hopes the whole of society will devote more concern and care to youngsters, especially to children, who are susceptible to becoming the victims of this deadly disease. |
