Laoxu gets herself a top position in a web magazine.

Actress Xu Jinglei will become the chief editor and sponsor of an E-journal to be released on the web in April.

She said being a magazine editor had been her dream when she was young. With the help of friends, she had decided to use her networks to realize her dream, since the traditional magazines need more money and the investment of more labour.

Xu added that the web magazine does not replace her blog, explaining the blog features her life stories while the web magazine covers more-comprehensive topics and combines other opinions aside from hers alone.

The biweekly magazine will invite columnists to comment on various fields, including fashion, entertainment, culture, science and political issues. Famous writer, Wang Shuo and Han han have signed up with Xu Jinglei to write comment for the web magazine. Xu also will be the host of one section, involving interviews with famous people.

Xu Jinglei is renowned for her ability in many spheres of life - including acting, directing film and photography.
