"Hand in Hand," the theme song of the 1988 Seoul Olympics, is still familiar 20 years later. Composer Giorgio Moroder now wants to write the theme song for Beijing Olympics. He says he will end the song with Chinese lyrics.
Moroder already has an idea in mind for the Beijing Olympics theme song. He says it should have Olympic characteristics and be simple in lyrics so people can remember it.
Because of the great success in adding Korean lyrics to the last sentence of "Hand in Hand," Moroder will add Chinese to the end of the Beijing theme song. He said Chinese musical instruments will be important elements of the music.
