Milo Joins Competition for '08 Team Manager

Bora Milutinovich, who led China to their first-ever football World Cup finals, has applied to become manager of China's 2008 Olympic Team.

Some 20 competitors have vied for the position. Among them are Philippe Troussier, former manager of the Japanese team, England's national team coach Sven-Goran Eriksson, and Dutchman Van Hanegem.

Swiss-based Infront Sports & Media, the exclusive marketing partner for Team China, has selected eight candidates among the competitors.

The final decisoin will be made by the Chinese Football Association early next month.
