Home team Beijing, spearheaded by former NBA player Menk Bateer, led 18-11 at the beginning of the match.

Bayi's Mo Ke then scored a total of four three-pointers to push the team ahead, 32-28 after the first quarter.

Bayi took advantage of Beijing's mistakes and extended their lead to five points before halftime.

Beijing launched a fierce attack in the second half, with American guard Burton Nat posting a three-pointer with four minutes to go, bringing the score to 82-84.

But the home team failed to keep up their pace, finally losing 95-90.

Bayi will host Beijing in the next two games of the semi-finals next week.
