Fran Cowan is the mother of Glenn Cowan. She comes to China with the U.S. table tennis delegation on behalf of her son, and the tour reprises 'Ping-Pong Diplomacy' between the two countries.
Glenn Cowan was one of the seven members of the original U.S. delegation that visited China in 1971. Talking about her son, Fran said she felt very proud of Glenn on his contribution to the Sino-US diplomacy.
