S Korea, Kenya Impressive at Incheon Race

Hosts South Koreans swept the top three women's spots at Sunday's 6th Incheon Half Marathon, while podium finishes of the men's event went to Kenyan runners.

Kwon Eun-joo won the race with 1:16:37, Jang Jin-suk finished second five seconds behind and Kim Ok-bin took the bronze at 25 seconds.

In the men's race, Luke K. Metto crossed the finish line first clocking 1:02:12, while fellow Kenyans Elijah Nyabuti ranked second at 24 seconds and Hose Kipkutgat Kogo third with further more 3 minutes and 6 seconds.

The race, held in Incheon which is bidding to host the 2014 Asian Games, attracted 15 foreign marathoners from 13 countries and regions.
