Hosts South Koreans swept the top three women's spots at Sunday's 6th Incheon Half Marathon, while podium finishes of the men's event went to Kenyan runners.
Kwon Eun-joo won the race with 1:16:37, Jang Jin-suk finished second five seconds behind and Kim Ok-bin took the bronze at 25 seconds.
In the men's race, Luke K. Metto crossed the finish line first clocking 1:02:12, while fellow Kenyans Elijah Nyabuti ranked second at 24 seconds and Hose Kipkutgat Kogo third with further more 3 minutes and 6 seconds.
The race, held in Incheon which is bidding to host the 2014 Asian Games, attracted 15 foreign marathoners from 13 countries and regions. |
