Basketball: CBA Corrects Shanghai's Wrongdoing
2006-03-25 14:13:31  CRIENGLISH.com
Shanghai has been scolded by the Chinese Basketball Association for faking figures that helped a local player win a CBA League award.

The Association has corrected the wrongdoing of the Shanghai organizers and awarded the regular season best player in assist to Jiangsu's Hu Xuefeng.

Staff members at the Shanghai CBA venue had put the number of assists from local star player Liu Wei at 16 instead of the actual seven, during a home match against the visiting Jiangsu in the final round of CBA regular season.

That had helped the player become CBA's best player in assists in the regular season.
