During the 39th round of matches played Friday night, Guangdong has routed visiting Shanghai 109-78 to extend their winning streak to 11 games.

With only five rounds left in the regular season, Guangdong has secured their place as regular season champions with 34 wins, five more than Beijing's 29, the second best team in the League.

Beijing have beaten Henan 90-79 to win the away game.

Shanghai's second loss in a row has caused their play-off hopes to grow even darker. They currently trail Yunnan, fourth in the Southern Conference.
