Two national team players were leading the scores for their respective clubs. Yi Jianlian had 27 points and 13 rebounds for Guangdong while Tang Zhengdong also 27 points and 19 boards for Jiangsu.

In Jinjiang, the Fujian home court has once again proved to be the Bermuda Triangle for Bayi, the military team. The hosts defeated Bayi 88-80 to keep their play-off season alive. It's Bayi's second loss at Jinjiang.

In Dongguan, the hosts outscored the visiting Shanghai 133-118 to clinch their ninth win this season. Shanghai's play-off hopes are now wavering.

Zhejiang's new head coach Jiang Xingquan recorded his first away-win as his team toppled Yunnan 101-91.

In the North Conference, leaders Beijing maintained their advantage over the other teams after a convincing 105-98 win over Shandong. Star center Menk Bateer contributed 34 points, 15 rebounds and eight assists for Beijing.

Second in the Conference, Xinjiang also recorded a home victory 103-94 over Liaoning. Seven of Xinjiang's players recorded double-digit scores.

Shaanxi, meanwhile, embraced a precious win at home to end their six-game losing streak. They beat Jilin 105-91.
