Turin Games: One Third Tickets Unsold
2006-01-20 08:15:30  CRIENGLISH.com

Some 370,000 tickets remain unsold for the Turin Winter Olympics which begin on Feb. 10, organisers said on Thursday.

Two thirds of the 1 million tickets available have been sold, with many of the top events close to being sold out, said the organisers.

"From a budget point of view this is very positive, and also if we compare it with Greece (host of the 2004 Summer Olympics) it is going well. But this is a country of the last minute," said Cesare

Vaciago, director general of Turin organising committee TOROC, told a news conference.
