China Get Lucky Draw

China got an easy start at the 2007 Asian Cup Qualifying round as draw results revealed.


The draw was held Wednesday afternoon in Malaysian capital Kuala Lumpur, headquaters of the Asian Football Confederation.

China, runner-up of the last edition, is grouped with Iraq, Singapore and Palestine in Group E.

Only the top two teams of each of the six groups will join co-host countries Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam in the final stage to be held from July 7 to 29, next year.
