China Scare Brazil at Grand Champions Cup
2005-11-23 13:14:26  CRIENGLISH.com
The young Chinese players scared two-time Olympic champions Brazil at the World Grand Champions Cup in Nagano, Japan.

Underdog China staged a perfect show, leading the first two sets over world top team Brazil. However, the Brazilians showed their champions quality and climbed from behind to turn around the table, winning the next two sets to even the scores.

In the decisive fifth set, Chinese players fought fiercely and managed to tie the opponents at 7-each. But the Olympic champions are more experienced and powerful as they took control of the match and finished the game at 15-11.

This is China's second loss at the tournament. The wild cards lost to Italy Tuesday in three straight sets.

They will next take on African champions Egypt Friday when the tournament moves to Tokyo.
