China Third in World Grand Champions Cup

China defeated European champion Poland, 3-1, to finish third in the World Grand Champions Cup volleyball tournament in Japan.

The Athens Olympic champion rallied from one set down to win with 17-25, 25-17, 25-19 and 25-20.

Brazil eased past wild cards South Korea, 3-0, to lift the champion's title with five straight wins.

Brazil also completed a double title in world women's volleyball, having already clinched the women's World Grand Prix this year.
