China Suffers Second Loss in World Grand Champions Cup
2005-11-16 14:55:34  CRIENGLISH.com

Defending champions China have suffered their second defeat in the World Grand Champions Cup volleyball tournament, losing to the US by three sets to nil.

The Olympic champions failed to shake off the chill of an opening loss to Brazil, and were beaten 25-22, 25-23, 25-24.

It was the first time the US team, led by Chinese volleyball legend Lang Ping, had beaten the Asian power house team.

Lang's squad lost to the Chinese team, led by Chen Zhonghe, 3-0 at the world grand prix in June.
