In Sunday's other game, Benin beat visiting Libya 1-0 on Rachad Chitou's penalty kick in the 63rd minute. Both teams had been eliminated.

In an exhibition game at London, Mark Viduka scored on his 30th birthday as Australia beat Jamaica 5-0.

Marco Bresciano and Archie Thompson scored first-half goals, and John Aloisi scored the fourth two minutes after replacing Viduka in the second half. Another substitute, Joel Griffiths, scored the final goal.

Australia is preparing for next month's home-and-home playoff against the fifth-place team from South America — Uruguay, Colombia or Chile — for a World Cup berth.
