The Kouvola Karaoke Club in Finland had set a new world record with 446 hours for non-stop karaoke singing, Finnish news agency STT reported on Monday.
The timer stopped at 446 hours, four minutes and five seconds when the same song was performed twice within two hours, which is against the rules, and the Guinness Book of World Records awarded the club a world record certificate.
The previous record of 214 hours was set by a club in China last year, said it.
The karaoke marathon event, began on July 2, was held in Kouvola, a small town about 135 kilometers north-east of Helsinki, the capital of Finland. |
