The 7th China International Aviation and Aerospace Exhibition, also known as Airshow China, opened on Tuesday with the star attraction of the home debut of China's home-built J-10 fighter in an aerobatic show.

China will also showcase its FBC-1 fighter bomber for the first time during the show in Zhuhai, a port city in Guangdong Province, organizers told Xinhua.

Some 600 aviation businesses from 35 countries and regions attended the largest show of its kind in China, with more than 60 aircraft being exhibited.

The businesses include Boeing of the United States, Airbus of France, Bombardier of Canada, Embraer of Brazil and China Aviation Industry Corporation, the developer of J-10 and FBC-1.

China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, developer of the manned spacecraft Shenzhou-7 and its carrier rocket Long March II-F, was showing about 100 advanced technologies and products, including the orbital module of Shenzhou-7 and the model of the spacecraft's re-entry module.

Vice Premier Zhang Dejiang announced the opening of the six-day air show. After the opening ceremony, he watched the aerobatic show and visited the exhibition hall.
