The closing of the 260-meter main span of the Yudong Yangtze River Bridge in Southwestern China's Chongqing municipality was completed on Monday.
Xinhua News Agency reported that the double-line bridge is designed for automobiles and light rail. Its main span is second only to the Humen Bridge, with a main span of 270 meters in east China's Guangdong province.
