A grand moon cake party highlighting the First Moon Cake Culture Festival is held over the weekend in Suzhou, east China's Jiangsu Province.
Dozens of food companies from the cities of Suzhou and Shanghai, Guangdong Province and Taiwan are participating in the exhibition with their most-favored moon cake brands, said the Xinhua news agency.
Moon cakes or "Yuebing" in Chinese pinyin, are a Chinese confection traditionally eaten during the Mid-Autumn Festival, which falls on the 15th day of the 8th month of the Chinese lunar calendar.
This year's moon cake day is on September 25.
