ANCHOR: The ongoing ISF Women's World Championship marks the first Olympic test event in Beijing. The world's top softball tournament not only tests the Chinese capital in running the Olympic venues, but also offers opportunities for volunteers to practice for the coming 2008 Games. CRI's Sun Yang has more.

Some 400 volunteers, most of them university students, are working for the 10-day long softball event.
Wang Yan is a postgraduate from Beijing Foreign Studies University. She works as an interpreter for Team Venezuela. The girl said she cherished the chance of working as a volunteer.
"I feel honored to be a volunteer here. It's an opportunity for us to learn something about sport and the virtue of the Olympics. I really learn a lot from the games."
Hearing the recruitment of volunteers for the Beijing Olympic Games has officially launched, the girl expressed her will to be one of the volunteers.
"With the experience this time, we can do better at the Olympic Games. We also hope to devote ourselves more efficiently and professionally."
Liu An'ge, also from the Beijing Foreign Studies University, shares the same feeling as his schoolmate.
"I'm hoping my performance here will give me privileges in the recruitment of the volunteers for the 2008 Olympic Games."
A total of 70,000 are needed for the Olympic Games in 2008 and 30,000 for the Paralympics.
Liu Qi, President of the Beijing Organizing Committee believes that, the volunteers' smiles will be the best name cards for Beijing.
