They'll soon set for home, bringing back all the new technologies they have learned here.

REPORTER:
Food security inspection personnel came from countries including Albania, Cuba, Ecuador, Myanmar, Vietnam, Nepal and the Philippines to improve their skills.
During the course, Chinese experts presented to them technology and equipment that China has applied in the inspection of food security in detail. These experts also introduced to them advanced methods the US and the EU have adopted in the inspection and approval of organic and genetically modified foods.
The principal of the training course, Chen Xuezhong, said the activity has resulted in the achievement of the anticipated goals. He said China is willing to share with other countries its successful experiences in food security inspection.
"I sincerely wish our training course will help other countries when they carry out food security inspections. I also wish the training course can serve as a platform that helps spread inspection technologies that China uses to other countries in need."
Many participants highly praised the training course. Kiyuku Prosper from the University of Burundi is one of them.
"The contents of different lectures were of high quality. Also, the high level of knowledge and experience of the lecturers, the high performance of different equipment were out of our experience. This training course will enable me and all of the participants to improve the quality of our jobs."
The participants also expressed their willingness to carry out more cooperation with China in this field.
As Chen Xuezhong introduced, over the recent years, many significant food security issues have broken out in the world, like mad cow disease and foot and mouth disease. All those have led to great influences to the economy and social developing of many countries. Hence, food security has been put on high agenda in every country.
China so far has established over 200 laboratory inspection methods within the inspection system of food security. Moreover, monitoring and warning systems have also been built to better ensure food security.
In the meantime, Chen says China is still continuously making efforts to complete its inspection system.
