A badly injured wild panda has been rescued in a mountainous area in central China's Shaanxi province.
The injured panda was taken to hospital on Saturday with blood streaming from its mouth and eyes.
After examining the panda and taking a scan, doctors say it has suffered several bone fractures.
"The panda's lumbar and cervix are broken and that caused the paralysis of hind legs. Its head is also injured, and it remains in a coma."
They believe the panda probably fell from a height of around 20 meters but they are still investigating the cause of its injuries.
Doctors are planning on carrying out surgery on the panda in five days.
