The first 24 hour hotline providing medical advice and technical support in the event of attacks by nuclear, biological or chemical weapons has opened at the "Academy of Military Medical Sciences" in Beijing, the PLA Daily reports

This hotline aims to provide professional information on how to deal with symptoms caused by nuclear radiation, biological and chemical attacks and provide instruction as to clinical diagnosis for medical workers at hospitals.

Medical staff are also obligated to report victims of nuclear, biological and chemical weapons to the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Health, and the People's Liberation Army.
