Both China National Grand Theatre and Line 10 of Beijing Subway have reserved 3G interfaces, which cover three standards of TD-SCDMA, WCDMA and CDMA2000.

Sina Technology reports on Thursday that Ericsson company, which is in charge of communications of the National Grand Theater and Line 10 of Beijing Subway, has reserved interfaces for three standards of 3G in the process of construction during a time when the perspective of 3G in China was not clear.

As a state major project construction, the National Grand Theatre is built according to international top theatre standards and the wireless communication system includes CDMA, GSM, personal access phone system (PAS), 3G system and WLAN wireless access.

Line 10 of Beijing Subway has similar programming. The communication system of this major subway line during Beijing Olympic includes GSM, DCS, CDMA, PAS, and supports 3G standard for the first time in China. Coverings of DVB-T digital television and DAB digital broadcasting are also included.
