Brazilian striker Ronaldo admitted on Saturday that he is between five or six kilos above his normal weight.

"People exaggerated because many times they see me with little difference in size. I'm above the weight. It is something natural. It is a result of a long time without playing and I'm returning to training," said Ronaldo to the television channel of Corinthians, his new club in Brazil.

"It's nothing absurd. I will lose five or six kilo in the pre-season," he added.

Ronaldo hasn't been in action professionally since February of this year when he tore the tendon of his left knee in a match with Italy's AC Milan club.
