    2008-12-06 09:35:29     Xinhua

Macnelly Torres, forward of Chile's Colo Colo soccer club, said on Friday that he was satisfied with his performance which has helped his team reach the semifinals of a local soccer championship.

"I'm happy with my performances. With the tournament coming to an end, it becomes more important," Torres said ahead of the second leg of their semifinal tie against Cobreloa on Saturday.

"I am sure that we could reach the final. We will hold the idea when we step onto the playing ground and I think we get everything on our side."

The Colombian joined Colo Colo as the highest paid soccer player in Chile's history, but it took him a long while to get used to it.

"I feel like I have already got used to it. When you know everything around you, it becomes easer," he said.
