Casillas Confident of Real Madrid Triumph in the Camp Nou
    2008-11-28 08:22:59     Xinhua
Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas showed on Thursday that two wins in their last two matches have seen the confidence return to the Real Madrid squad.

Real Madrid's last two matches may have been narrow 1-0 triumphs against bottom of the table Recreativo Huelva and Bate Borisov, possibly the weakest team in this year's Champions League, but they have already got Casillas looking to the future.

With a place in the last 16 of the Champions League now secure, the next big game in Real Madrid's calendar is their trip to the Camp Nou to play FC Barcelona on December 12.

With Barcelona leaders of the Primera Liga and Real Madrid currently second, the game promises to be one of the most important of the season and Casillas believes his side can come away with all three points.

"I am convinced that we are going to win by 1-0," said Casillas, who was promoting a charity event he will be celebrating with tennis star Rafael Nadal on December 16.
