    2008-11-15 08:51:36     Xinhua

All three Chinese gymnasts easily got tickets for final at their respective events on Friday at the Stuttgart gymnastics World Cup.

Feng Zhe overcame well-known gymnastics star like Germany's Fabian Hambuechen to top the parallel bars with 16.325 points. His A score, or degree of difficulty, stood at 7.00, also the highest among 27 gymnasts.

Feng Zhe was not enrolled in the Beijing Olympic Games, but he has been a frequent medal winner at gymnastic tournament. In March this year, Feng seized the gold medal of parallel bars at Qatar World Cup.

Zhang Hongtao topped the pommel horse with 16.150 points at the qualifying round while Yan Mingyong took the third place at the rings with 16.225 points. Dutch former world champion Yuri van Gelder, nicknamed "king of rings", led the standings.

Horizontal bar world champion Fabian Hambuechen took the first place at the horizontal bar, but he gave up vault because of injury.

His teammate Matthias Fahrig made up to take the lead at the vault, winning thunderous applause from local fans.

Fahrig also topped the floor exercise.

The finals will be staged on Sunday.
