    2008-09-30 08:27:35     Xinhua

Bolivia began on Monday training for its World Cup qualifiers against Peru and Uruguay at the Hernan Siles Suazo Stadium in La Paz.

According to media reports, the administrative capital of Bolivia, the Bolivian team coached by former international player Ervin "Platini" Sanchez expects to resurge after its classic 0-0 draw as visitors with Brazil during the eight leg of the South American qualifying tournament for the 2010 World Cup.

Bolivia was in last place from South America, with five points, but it has the chance to win points against Peru, which has six points, and against Uruguay taking advantage of the altitude from La Paz (3,600 meters over the sea).

During Monday training were leading players of the local league, while overseas players will join the training some days before the matches to be held on Oct. 11 and 14.
