The Mexican Olympic delegation, consisting of 83 athletes, is ready to travel on July 29 to Beijing for the Olympic Games, Carlos Padilla, chief of the Mexican Olympic Committee said Wednesday.
Padilla said the 83 athletes, 40 women and 43 men with an average age of 23 will participate in 20 sports.
"The delegation is a young one, a committed one, to give their best in Beijing and I am sure that their performance is going to be the best," Padilla said, yet avoiding to give a medal forecast for Mexico. |
