Colombia Leading Medal Tally at Pan-American Cycling Championships

Colombia on Friday achieved two gold medals during bicycle racing's first day allowing it to consolidate its advantage on the medals' scoreboard at Uruguay's Track and Route Panamerican Championship.

At the sixth day of the tournament Colombian representatives have achieved 18 medals, 11 of them were won on Friday, Argentina follows with 11, but only one gold, and then Chile with eight and only one gold.

Canada is Colombia's opponent with four gold medals out of five all at the bicycle racing.

Trinidad and Tobago has five medals, United States, Mexico and Uruguay have three, Cuba and Guatemala two, and Brazil one.

Pan-American of tracking cycling and bicycle racing is being held in Montevideo, Uruguay's capital from May 4 to 11 with the participation of 250 sportsmen from 25 countries.
