Metal models of China's National Olympic Stadium, the main venue for the upcoming Beijing Olympics, debuted at the capital's flagship Olympic franchise store in Beijing on Wednesday.

The miniature stadiums, known as the "Bird's Nest", are on sale in two colours, gilt and tine plated, and available in three sizes: large, medium or small.

The metal used on the large and medium size models are made from steel left over from the construction of the real stadium.
