After a month of selection, three candidates have entered the final stage of the bidding for the head coach of China's national soccer team for the 2008 Olympics.
The Switzerland-based Infront Sports & Media, marketing partner of Chinese soccer teams, said it has informed the China Sports Administration who the candidates are, with the final decision expected to be unveiled at the end of this month.
The 2008 team will be led by Jia Xiuquan as the transitional coach before the new head is appointed.
The team will play a friendly match against their Japanese partners on August 8.
The Asian Games in December will be the first major challenge for the new head coach.
