England's injured striker Wayne Rooney kicked a ball at the side's training ground in Carrington on Friday sparking a betting spree on his fitness for the World Cup.

Reporters spotted the Manchester United forward, who broke his toe against Chelsea at the end of April, running and kicking the ball on a different part of the ground from the rest of his England team-mates.
United have lent England the ground for pre-World Cup practice.
Rooney is scheduled to have a scan on his foot on June 7, three days before England open its World Cup campaign against Paraguay, to see whether he has a chance of playing any part in the tournament in Germany.
"News that Wayne Rooney is running and kicking a ball in training has sparked a punting plunge on him to play a part in the World Cup," bookmaker William Hill said in a press release on Friday.
Meanwhile, right back Gary Neville missed training for a second day and is a doubt for England's final World Cup warm-up match against Jamaica on Saturday.
The Manchester United defender suffered a hamstring injury during the 3-1 friendly win over Hungary Tuesday evening.
Neville came off at half-time during the match at Old Trafford and was replaced at right back by Jamie Carragher.
England coach Sven-Goran Eriksson said at the time Neville had come off as a precautionary measure.
Eriksson has no straight replacement in his squad at right back, meaning that Carragher or Owen Hargreaves would have to fill in.
