People in Tianjin will be able to ring the new 114 inquiry hotline to locate a specific address of a residential area or a hutong from the start of this year.
China Netcom and Tianjin Municipal government are jointly provided the service, which will help people locate all the streets, alleys and residential areas within the city's outer ring road.
Similar services are already provided in a number of other Chinese cities, like Nanjing.
