Potala Palace will not raise its entrance admission fee, at least not in 2006.

The Development and Reform Committee of Tibet Autonomous Region made the confirmation on Wednesday.

Besides Potala Palace, the ticket prices for several other tourist attractions in Lhasa, including Jokhang Monastery, Ramoche Temple and Norbulingka, will remain the same for the time being.

The admission fee for Potala Palace is currently set at 100 yuan.
