The Chinese actress Zhang Ziyi, who won praise in the US for her recent role in "Memoirs of a Geisha" is a hot tip for next year's Best Actress Oscar .

Though she was not nominated for her role in the Chinese martial-arts film "House of Flying Daggers", Zhang Ziyi may grab the attention of the members of the academy next year after her outstanding performance in Steven Spielberg's "Memoirs of a Geisha".
