2005-1-31 9:52:15      CRIENGLISH.com

Chinese film "Peacock", an official selection of the 55th Berlin International Film Festival, will be released in China on February 18th.

"Peacock" is renowned filmmaker Gu Changwei's directorial debut.

The cinematographer-turned-director said he wanted to make a film according to his own film aesthetics.

Peacock tells the story of three children in an ordinary family in an obscure, remote, post-industrial city in Central China in the 1970s and 1980s.
