Celebrated Hong Kong director Tsui Hark's martial arts epic 'Seven Swords' looks set to open next year's Cannes Film Festival.

Celebrated Hong Kong director Tsui Hark's martial arts epic 'Seven Swords' looks set to open next year's Cannes Film Festival.

Well known Hong Kong film editor, Angie Lam, told reporters the film, which has just finished shooting, will open the festival.

It stars Leon Lai, Donnie Yen, Charlie Young, Lu Yi, Sun Honglei and Kim Son-yeon.

The first draft of the film will be complete next March and all staff are working hard to finish it a month before the festival.
